The YMCA of Greater Williamson County is seeking a motivated individual to serve as a member of the Marketing and Communications team. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will manage projects related to the development, execution and maintenance of a comprehensive digital media strategy. In coordination with Licensed Child Care, Camp and Preschool at the Y, will manage newsletters, website content for Camp, Y Afterschool and Preschool at the Y, social media sites and email marketing systems. This role includes content creation, social media monitoring, and will help define the digital voice for Camp, Y Afterschool and Preschool at the Y, in an effort to evolve and elevate the Y’s digital presence and increase engagement/participation in these programs. Must be able to work flexible hours and in a fast paced and dynamic environment while taking directions with a positive attitude.
The successful candidate will be a “hands on”, mission driven, flexible, team player.
General Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Manages webpages, social media outlets and various other marketing media
- Gathers and organizes communications from various departments to form Newsletters and emails
- Develops Newsletter and emails for Youth Development Department
- Develop and maintains editorial content/calendar
- Develop retention campaign
- Runs reports and analyzes data
- Monitors social media and researches and resolves issues
- Strong organizational and communications skills
- Strong computer skills
- 1-2 Years previous marketing experience preferred
- Established relationships in the Greater Williamson County community preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team. The candidate will be able to effectively multi-task as well as demonstrate strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, sex offender and criminal history background check.
