Job Summary:
As a Branch Manager, you will be the face of TruWest Credit Union, guiding your team with strong leadership and providing exceptional service to your staff and our members. Additionally, you will be responsible for, and direct the activities of a smaller branch (4 or less employees). This includes coaching staff to utilize sales skills to build strong financial relationships with members. The Branch Manager is expected to lead all internal and external branch sales activities, amongst various other managerial duties. We’re looking for friendly and compassionate individuals who will be capable of guiding and leading the sales and service activities provided to individual members.

Qualifications:

Education:
Requires education associated with high school diploma; two year Associates Degree in a related field preferred. A combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Experience:
This position requires a minimum of two years of credit union (or similar financial institution) experience in a Supervisory role.

Knowledge and Skills:
This individual must have demonstrated supervisory skills in the area of staff career development and motivation, coaching and supervising sales performance, business development, product development and management, risk management and supervising small work groups. Requires intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer software applications including: spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation applications. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize workload, work independently as well as within a team environment. Individual must also have strong decision making ability, the ability to participate in branch strategic planning, and the ability to maintain the integrity of confidential information.
