Enterprise Software Architect
The Enterprise Software Architect is involved in every area of the enterprise software operations, with a focus on evolving our enterprise software by understanding and improving existing enterprise architecture and processes, by envisioning where software will be in the future, and by executing structured plans for getting it to said future state. The incumbent of this position is expected to analyze existing middleware and enterprise software for continuous improvement in processes while ensuring that university business continues as expected. Our work environment is highly collaborative environment and often requires mentoring other application administrators and software developers as well as collaboration with other Office of Information Technology (OIT) personnel especially in the areas of systems and networking.
For consideration, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience as a software developer/analyst and/or a systems administrator required. System design experience and application integration experience, with understanding of various types of data flow among applications. Experience providing guidance to other systems analysts and administrators. Proven experience in identifying, analyzing and resolving complex problems is required. Experience with Salesforce and/or Ellucian Banner is preferred. Higher education experience is preferred. Must possess the ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
