Microsoft Solutions Specialist

The Microsoft Solutions Specialist role is based out of the Austin, TX office and will act as a Microsoft sales specialist and subject matter expert for the SHI Corp’s Microsoft customers and prospects. The current and future Microsoft licensing and program changes coupled with the rapid adoption of the public cloud provide significant incentives for SHI to invest in growing our Microsoft practice, particularly focused on CSP agreements. Therefore, we look to expand our Corp Microsoft team by adding an experienced resource to acquire and improve our current acquisition retention performance.
This position will be required to report to the SHI Austin TX 1501 South Mo Pac Office location.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Focus on acquisition sales and retention of Microsoft agreements
•Working knowledge of the core Microsoft products, licensing strategies and all operational aspects of Microsoft Enterprise Enrollments (i.e., contracts, order processing, MSLI, MLS analysis, etc.) and CSP agreements
•Requires someone with a proven track record of building successful internal relationships at SHI and substantial experience with our internal systems and processes (A/X, CRM, and SC09)
•Identifies customer needs/requirements and recommends appropriate solution of Microsoft products through cross-sell and up-sell
•Works closely with SHI CORP sales teams and Microsoft direct sales teams to sell respective products/solutions
•Focuses on delivering a positive customer experience the customer would spread throughout the industry
•Stays up to date on new product technology offerings and Microsoft specific offerings and programs
•Assists in training SHI CORP Sales on Microsoft products & programs and how customers can benefit by using their core products
Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
•Experience working with C-Level executives
•Highly focused on customer solutions and satisfaction
•Strong negotiation and motivational skills
•Excellent presentation skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint
•Bachelor's Degree Required
•Working knowledge of Microsoft licensing and programs
•Experience managing and renewing Enterprise and CSP agreements
•Professional customer-facing content creation expertise
•Microsoft Certified Professional (Required - Must obtain within first 6 weeks of starting role)
•Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (Preferred)
•Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (Preferred)
