What You'll Do…

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Technical Support Representatives, Implementation Engineers, Client Success Managers, Implementation Project Managers, and Developers to resolve customer support issues and implement revenue generating projects.
  • Implement customer solutions to include:
    • Server & data validations and migrations
    • Database conversions & mergers
    • Data feed creation & modifications
    • Application upgrades and conversions
    • Database maintenance and optimization
    • System decommissioning
    • Perform troubleshooting and resolution actions to include:
      • Software defect identification
      • SQL script fixes and optimization
      • Database maintenance and optimization
      • Data manipulation
      • Server performance analysis
      • Work with Project Managers to ensure implementations are completed accurately, completely, within scope, and on-time
      • Work directly with customers to ensure that all required data is received and complete
      • Document processes and knowledge base articles to increase efficiency and reduce required work effort

    What You'll Need:

    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of technical engineering experience working with software and databases
    • Strong experience in SQL server querying, maintenance and administration
    • Ability to write, read, understand, troubleshoot SQL scripts
    • Strong understanding of relational databases, Windows Server environments, permissions, network communication, product integration issues and data migration/conversion issues
    • Ability to do basic performance analysis: Disk, Memory, CPU, Database
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment.
    • Self-motivation, team-orientation, and adaptability
    • Microsoft Certifications in Windows and/or SQL not required, but a plus (SQL preferred)
    • Knowledge of at least 1 programming language (preferably C#) not required, but a plus
