Job Description

We’re looking for a highly motivated intern, for our Summer 2019 Intern Program, to work on corporate and operational initiatives within NFP’s marketing department, as well as those for meeting planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to use and leverage systems including: project management, document repository and email client
  • Pull and analyze reporting
  • Data management
  • Draft simple marketing plans and timelines
  • Build file structures and processes
  • Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects/deadlines at a time
  • Ability to be detailed oriented and assist with planning of multiple events
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

  • Proficient in writing and editing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented self-starter who can independently manage deadlines
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Ability to work autonomously and use critical thinking
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

 

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Currently enrolled in a four year university pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related discipline
  • Prefer junior or senior level student

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registration: None Required
