Sales Representative - Utah

The primary responsibility of a Sales Rep is to develop strong relationships with new and existing customers, contractors and specifiers to manage projects through the sales process in their assigned territory. Customer contact may be through sales presentations, meetings, field visits and trade shows. A good Sales Rep will have the ability to listen to customer's needs and make recommendations by differentiating Musco's products and services. We utilize a customer management system to track and maintain all project and contact information. Each rep is responsible to prepare budget estimates using pricing tools provided and negotiate projects with variance guidelines determined by their Sales Manager. We offer a team environment with many internal resources to analyze projects from a sales, business and engineering perspective. A successful Musco Sales Rep is a stakeholder in achieving the territory sales plan by promoting process discipline, developing a strategic plan and applying Musco philosophies.
The ideal candidate will have a college degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurship or a related field. Previous sales or Musco experience is preferred. Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently out of a home office. Significant travel required for training. Overnight travel required, evenings and weekends as needed. Will include working outside of regular business hours. Valid driver's license required. Personal vehicle is used for travel within the territory and reimbursed per IRS regulations.

Must have a passion for selling and building trusting relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present in front of groups is required. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage project workload as it relates to meetings, customer visits, project deadlines and internal communications. Must demonstrate a strong learning agility and technical aptitude, be willing to learn and ask questions!
