Work weeks averaging 40 work-hours or may
consist of an average of five (5) eight (8) work-hour days, Sunday through Saturday between the hours of 6:00 a.m.
and 11:00 p.m. This schedule may include Federal Holidays and evening hours
EXCESS HOURS - Hours will only be used in the event of an emergency and additional hours are required
for the hospital to meet their mission and to ensure there is not disruption in patient care.

Responsible for maintenance of the highest standards of professional care in the treatment of patients and in the teaching and training of residents and technicians.
Responsible for a full range of diagnostic examinations, the development of treatment plans when indicated and delivery of treatment within the personnel and equipment capabilities of the medical treatment facility.
Request and interpret laboratory tests, procedures and consultation as considered appropriate.
Prepare and document appropriate history, physical examinations and diagnosis.
Maintain documentation of all treatment provided in accordance with hospital directives and prepare such records and reports as may be required by the contract.
Training and experience to adequately diagnose and treat acute diseases and injuries to include but not limited to:
- Skin Pulmonary System
- Head Gastrointestinal System
- Eyes Musculoskeletal System
- Ears, Nose & Throat Genitourinary System
- Behavior Health Reproductive System
- Psycho-social Lymphatic System
- Neck Central Nervous System
- Cardiovascular System Endocrine System
Shall be a graduate of a recognized advanced practice nursing educational program (accredited Master’s
Level or Doctoral Program) and possess evidence of certification by a nationally recognized body according to the
requirements of the advanced practice certifying organization, for example, American Nurses Credentialing Center
(ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP) Certification Program.
Shall be a graduate of an NLN approved school of nursing and hold current registration as a registered
nurse in the United States. If the state of registration has a separate Advance Practice Nurse (APN) licensure, the
FNP will also have APN licensure.
Shall possess evidence of successful completion of an ANP program of education.
A BSN is required, but an MSN is preferred.
Must have or obtain a current, valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number prior to
performing the contract services. Any change to the DEA requirements to obtain a valid DEA registration number is
applicable when the incumbent’s existing DEA registration expires.
Shall have current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) (ALL)
Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Urgent Care) (Bariatric)
Shall have a minimum of one year of experience (within the past four years) of routinely practicing as a

Shall have and maintain a valid, unrestricted, current state medical license in one of
the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or US Virgin Islands.
