This hands-on role is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of property marketing, business development and communications strategies focused on increasing market share and revenues across key JLL businesses in Austin. This person is not only a creative marketer but a proficient project manager and talented designer with the ability to concept and design promotional materials independently.

What this job involves:

  • Build, implement and track marketing plans that align with the goals of building owners and property representatives
  • Manage the associated project plans required to bring all tactics to market (collateral to include, but not limited to, brochures, websites, direct mail, email, event coordination, advertising, promotional items, site signage and sponsorships)
  • Provide both art direction and design support to visually express the plan
  • Work in various mediums including print, digital and other technologies.
  • Create and deploy email marketing campaigns
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction to the satisfaction of the brokers involved and their clients
  • Identify opportunities to bring creativity and innovation to existing marketing practices and materials.
  • Work with innovative ways to market JLL’s capabilities, both for presentations and for on-going routine marketing 
  • Utilize an array of traditional, digital and social media platforms to support local objectives
  • Provide assistance and communicate effectively to support team, brokers and vendors
  • Create highly polished new business presentations needed to win business, in all areas of real estate that differentiate JLL from the competition
  • Assist brokerage assistants with graphic requests and provide periodic training to ensure that all marketing materials present the JLL brand consistently and follow corporate graphic standards.
  • Provide assistance and communicate effectively to support team, brokers and vendors
  • Assist with research utilizing available resources.
  • Contribute to team-wide/corporate marketing initiatives that are integral to the company’s success
  • Follow local, regional and global real estate news
  • Contribute to planning events (internal and external).
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

  • Proficient to expert level experience in Microsoft Suite and Adobe Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency
  • Ability to ignite and build strong interpersonal relationships with individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  • Strong creative skills and ability to provide art direction

  • New business development and sales support experience
  • Ability to work effectively in teams
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four years of progressive marketing and project management experience; preferably within a professional services environment
