Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM is hiring a Routes to Market Manager. 

As a Routes to Market Manager in LinuxONE ISV Ecosystem,  you will be responsible in maintaining IBM's superior level of business partner focus, while working with sales and ISVs to help them close transactions.  You will also:
  • engage our Business development executives (BDE)  to provide assistance and to ensure customer inquiries, technical resources, and sales processes are addressed timely.
  • leverage Business Partners/ISV (BP) as the main route to market for opportunities they are engaged.
  • Work with all sellers in IBM and at ISVs to enable them on selling IBM System z and LinuxONE
  • Work with business Development executives to validate pipeline and help them engage with ISV sellers and clients
  • Work with IBM and ISV sellers to enable them on IBM z and  LinuxONE systems
Through continuous personal development, you will become a subject matter authority and act as an influencer and trusted advisor for your sellers and BDEs, working closely with the IBM ISV network to leverage their skills and client interaction.  You are expected to find a resolution if you encounter an obstacle when generating business and manage to resolution.  Additionally:
  • You will need to have personal drive and ambition to make you stand out.
  • You will need to build your network of contacts both within IBM and your Business Development Executive, making yourself the "go to" person for your specific field.
  • You will need to take personal interest in everything you do, putting your client first, being prepared to take on challenges, solve problems, and work with your team to get things done
  • You must have proven, strong communication skills and be able to present both verbally and visibly.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Requirements for this IBM role:
  • 5+ years in overall go to market strategies, preferably in a marketing or sales role
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively on a regularly scheduled cadence to ensure stakeholder alignment
  • Strong business writing skills that you can demonstrate  
  • Understanding of marketing and sales metrics and funnel analytics to optimize existing campaigns as well as advise team on best strategies to drive demand.
  • Comfortable presenting virtually, and in person, to audiences of all sizes, both internally and externally.
  • A natural storyteller who understands how to engage ISV/clients through multiple channels
