Work you'll do
 
As a Federal Recruiting and Hiring Analyst (Recruiter) in the Human Capital group you will:
 
  • Write clear, informative, streamlined internal and/or external job opportunity announcements for single and multi-grade opportunity announcements
  • Properly apply bargaining unit requirements to announcements as required by client-specific agreements
  • Post approved job opportunity announcements on both federal and non-federal job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed, college boards, etc.
  • Monitor and manage job announcements
  • Update job announcements based on business manager requests or changes to timeline
  • Track and maintaining applicant data in agency-specific systems
  • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of the client environment and overall project scope
  • Identify and solve problems using analysis, experience, and judgment
  • Independently perform tasks with some guidance to execute a portion of the project scope
  • Will work from one of the following locations:
    • Downtown Washington, DC
    • Kansas City, MO
    • Philadelphia, PA
    • Ogden, UT
    • Austin, TX,
    • Memphis, TN
    • Holtzville, NY 
The Team
 
Human Resources Transformation
The HR Transformation team is a core component of our Human Capital practice – the work we do supports the five major issues our clients are facing. We collaborate with our clients to develop leading global HR strategies and support organizations in achieving excellence through implementing solutions that transform how they organize, develop capabilities, deploy leading technology, and deliver a leading employee experience.

Keeping the employee in mind, all our services cater to improving an organization's productivity through their human capital asset. The client issues we work with range from the need for a comprehensive HR strategy to determining the need for new and enabling technologies, to streamlining HR operations and transforming the way HR is delivered.
 
Qualifications
 
Required:
  • 1 or more years of experience as a recruiter, managing recruiting and hiring efforts ideally for a federal government organization
  • Experience writing, monitoring, and managing internal and external job opportunity announcements
  • Ability to work independently under general guidance
  • Experience working in teams and in a team environment that is process-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Professional oral and written communication skills
  • Relevant software or application skills to complete job successfully
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • Bachelor's Degree
The Team
 
Preferred:
  • 3 or more years of Federal HR (Human Resources) and personnel processing
  • Experience supporting federal government HR organizations
  • Experience producing and presenting reports to executives
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Experience applying Human Resources principles, federal HR laws, regulations and policies relating to position management
  • Ability to understand and respond effectively to complex or sensitive inquiries
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
  • Local candidates to one of the following locations: Downtown Washington, DC; Kansas City, MO; Philadelphia, PA; Ogden, UT; Austin, TX; Memphis, TN; or Holtzville, NY
