Our Meetings & Events team is looking to hire a Web Registration Specialist to help support a key client.

-Though the end-to-end website building lifecycle (website preparation, launching, and follow-up), provide unparalleled consultative customer service to meeting owners, clients, and attendees.

-Build attendee management websites and process reports through Cvent, obtaining a complete understanding of the functionality of Cvent in order to advise and educate client users.

-Support clients through utilization of the Cvent tool as described by the client agreement.

-Consult with the client and provide guidance on design and functionality to ensure client specifications, standards and objectives are met and client is appropriately informed.

-Develop registration sites, administer address book, manage graphics and provide best-practice guidance to clients.

-Set up reports and schedule of reporting to ensure accurate information is provided to the client.

-Build and maintain strong client knowledge by attending weekly conference calls to further define/re-define process and procedure.

-Monitor all active websites to proactively escalate potential client or supplier issues to manager/program manager/Supplier Management for resolution. Involve client where appropriate.

-Provide guidance and offer recommendations to team members not actively involved in SMM Procurement on a daily basis.

-Fully support the larger Strategic Travel & Event Procurement team through workload sharing and brainstorming opportunities.


-College diploma or degree in Information Technology.
-An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


-Minimum two (2) years of related experience that includes basic HTML/CSS/Javascript coding and/or platform (StarCite/Cvent, etc.) experience. -Meeting Planning experience a plus.


-Graphic editing using tools like Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Microsoft photo editor, Paint, etc. preferred.
-Intermediate HTML coding, Platform education, website design knowledge preferred.


-Technology skills including basic understanding of computers, servers & network environments, ability to research new technology opportunities, and data management skills.
-Ability to create, edit, delete, administer FTP, and web server preferred.
-Communication skills including concise, clear, effective and professional client, peer and management communication that contributes to maintaining a positive work environment.
-Computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Internet, database management programs, Outlook, PowerPoint, FrontPage (or equivalent), and basic graphic skills.


-Team-oriented with the ability to set priorities and work in a fast-paced multi-project environment.
-Ability to understand and enforce company SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures).
-Flexibility to work under tight and ever changing deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
-Attend internal and external training and network opportunities to further industry knowledge.
-Ability to seek out learning opportunities from senior staff within the department.
