We are looking to hire a Director of Sales to join our North American sales team in a senior leadership role for an Enterprise SaaS company growing at over 100% YOY. The position is based in Austin, Texas where we are headquartered. The Sales Director will be ultimately responsible for generating all revenue for the business including renewal ARR (existing customers) and new business (Go-Get). This is a unique opportunity for an experienced enterprise software sales leader to be a highly visible player at a major software company with direct reporting into the CEO.

In this role, you will manage a team of account executives, business development, proposal writers and market research analysts to help sell our products and services to Small, Medium and large Government customers within the US and Canada. 25% travel is par for the course

Your duties will include:
  • Working closely with the CEO in developing the annual sales plan
  • Supporting your account executives to meet and exceed their quota
  • Defining win themes for RFP responses
  • Building and approving final pricing quotes prior to submitting to customers
  • Networking with C level executives at events and conferences to identify new opportunities
  • Participating in oral demonstrations in shortlisted bids
  • Being directly involved in new sales and upsell into large and strategic accounts.
  • Being responsible for both direct and indirect quotas.
  • Achieving and exceeding sales quota that is planned. The average booked revenue per new logo over a 5 year period is $500K for Small & Medium Government (SMG) customers, and $3M for large government customers.

  1. Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational, and presentation skills.
  2. Approximately 10 - 15 years’ experience selling large dollar enterprise software systems like SAP, Oracle, Workday, Bentley Systems, ESRI is a plus. We are not looking for people who have made frequent job changes every 1-2 years.
  3. Confidence in presenting technology to solve business automation problems
  4. Use of Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Salesloft, GoToMeeting and WebEx tools to do the job.
  5. A Bachelor’s degree
