Arrow Child & Family Ministries is seeking a Behavioral Support Specialist for our Treatment Foster Care Program. The Behavior Support Specialist is responsible for the direct provision of in-home and community-based rehabilitation and support services to participating TFC clients. The Behavior Support Specialist provides services in the home, community, or program site, assuming a supportive role in the ongoing development and implementation of Trust-Based Relational Intervention in the home, and provides additional support to foster families, and supervision of clients.
EDUCATION, LICENSURE AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, mental health or another related human services field. At least one (1) year of previous experience working with youth in a mental health setting preferred.
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of current Auto Registration, Inspection and Insurance
- Driving Record (three years) from the state in which the driver's license is valid
- Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must submit to and pass random drug tests during employment.
- Must successfully pass all background screens as required by the state.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
