    Technical Account Manager

The TAM is the liaison, acting as the single point of contact for all Retail Technology departments. The TAM will provide solutions, training and project management to help deliver outstanding results. The TAM must have the ability to work independently as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment and be able to make decisions and meet stringent deadlines. The TAM is expected to support 1-3 teams dependent on size and complexity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Works closely with Retail and Client management as the primary point of contact for ARTS, ensuring appropriate communication is delivered accurate, timely and in a consistent manner.
    • Acts as the single point of contact for issue escalation, resolution and application/ reporting related requests for field management and client services.
    • Must understand the functionality of the retail platform and how the data should appear in different types of devices.
    • Able to efficiently troubleshoot reported issues (at the field management level) in all supported technology applications, providing feedback to and consult with the Retail and/or Client teams when needed regarding changes that need to be made to the database.
    • Design and deliver training modules to retail management and other business partners to grow employees’ knowledge of the retail technology software systems and how best to capture retail data.
    • Act as a project manager on behalf of the Retail and/or Client teams by leading the project and/or participating as the organizational expert to manager completion 40%.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required
    • 0-2 years of experience in CRM (Customer Relationship Management Software) or database maintenance or equivalent experience
    • 1-3 years of experience of CPG (Consumer Package Goods) industry experience preferred
    • Training/presentation experience
    • Customer Service experience a plus
    • Process-oriented/strong follow-up/ highly organized approach to managing/prioritizing tasks and day-to-day activity

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Liaison

    • Works closely with Retail and Client management as the primary point of contact for ARTS, ensuring appropriate communication is delivered accurate, timely and in a consistent manner
    • Acts as the single point of contact for issue escalation, resolution and application/reporting related requests for field management and client services
    • Seeks opportunities for operational efficiency and effectiveness by collaborating with IT and the business on current and future business needs
    • Participates and presents in client/team meetings as needed on behalf of the Technology team
    • Develops and provides initial training to supported teams for new applications or enhancements
    • Builds strong relationships with supported teams and is ingrained in the business by attending store calls, participating in team meetings/calls, initiating regular communication and being well versed in team goals and objectives

    System Configuration / Troubleshooting

    • Must understand the functionality of the retail platform and how the data should appear in different types of devices
    • Understand the hierarchy structure, algorithms or virtual reporting structures being applied to the team’s data to determine whether or not the system is working as it should
    • Point of escalation for specific retail teams issue Ensure all issues are properly escalated to the appropriate department
    • Able to efficiently troubleshoot reported issues (at the field management level) in all supported technology applications, providing feedback to and consult with the Retail and/or Client teams when needed regarding changes that need to be made to the database

    Technical Training and Education

    • Understanding of hardware and software platforms available to support teams
    • Understands functionality including Touch, WIM, RPM, AIM, WorkWith, DocLocker, Reporting to be able to identify appropriate technical solutions to business problems and function as the technology
    • Design and deliver training modules to retail management and other business partners to grow employees knowledge of the retail technology software systems and how best to capture retail data

    Project Management

    • Act as a project manager on behalf of the Retail and/or Client teams by leading the project and/or participating as the organizational expert to manager completion 40%

    - This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports

    Travel and/or Driving Requirements:

    • Travel is an essential duty and function of this job

    Minimum Qualifications

    The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

    Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

    Field of Study/Area of Experience:

    • 0-2 years of experience in CRM (Customer Relationship Management Software) or database maintenance or equivalent experience
    • 1-3 years of experience of CPG (Consumer Package Goods) industry experience preferred
    • Training/presentation experience
    • Customer Service experience a plus

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

    • Process oriented/strong follow-up/ highly organized approach to managing/prioritizing tasks and day-to-day activity
    • Independent self-starter
    • Very strong communication and leadership skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and clients
    • Team player with ability to collaborate and communicate with IT and/or business
    • Strong analytical thinker to assist in trouble shooting and managing retail technical and data issues
    • Comfortable and conversant with technology- very familiar with IPad, smartphones etc.
    • Project management of small to medium size project plans
    • Comfortable training or presenting in front of groups of people
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, Templates)
    • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Power Point)
    • MS Access knowledge a plus

    Environmental & Physical Requirements:

    Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
