Job Description

The Delivery Specialist - SOTF is responsible for loading, securing, delivering, setting up, troubleshooting, and demonstrating merchandise for customers during an initial delivery, a service call, or as part of a pickup. The Delivery Specialist may also occasionally review lease agreements with the customer during a delivery. The Delivery Specialist will promote Aaron's sales events by distributing flyers. During all duties, the Delivery Specialist will serve as an ambassador of Aaron's with a goal of delivering an exceptional customer experience. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Review the information sheets and adhere to the delivery schedule each day
  • New deliveries, Returns or Product Exchanges:
  • Verify correct product and accessories are loaded to the delivery vehicle using the information sheets
  • Load, secure and protect product in delivery vehicle to avoid any damage during delivery
  • Ensure all merchandise is clean and in operating condition prior to delivery
  • Offload, install and demonstrate merchandise applying all customer experience training to ensure an exceptional customer experience
  • Confirm customer identification, collect money and obtain customers signature on lease agreements
  • Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items returned
  • Review company marketing materials and available training resources to stay up to date on product features and basic service procedures
  • Perform routine service calls and product exchanges
  • Maintaining the store's warehouse in a neat and orderly manner
  • Safely operate delivery vehicle
  • Document all vehicle movement in accordance to company guidelines
  • Conduct daily inspection of assigned deliver vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance guidelines are met
  • Assist in field marketing programs as requested by store management including the distribution of company advertisements/flyers while out of the store
Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Position routinely requires lifting, loading and “dollying” merchandise 50 – 300 pounds
  • Neatly groomed appearance
  • Good communication skills and a strong focus on customer service
  • Strong technical skills or working knowledge of electronic products
  • Good driving skills
  • Satisfactory MVR, D.O.T physical/certification in states that require it, a valid Driver's License and compliance with the Company's Diver Qualification Policy
