HARRIS CONNECT, INC. WHAT WE DO: Harris Connect is the leading publisher of High School, College, University and various other Organization's Alumni Directories. Our Representatives are responsible for answering and placing phone calls in order to gather information to update student/member records for our clients. Our Representatives are also responsible for selling copies of the Alumni Directories at the end of each phone call. WHO WE ARE: Harris Connect is a professional and stable family owned business who cares about it's employees and it's customers. It is our goal to help organizations re-establish relationships with their Alumni and for Alumni to strengthen their affinity with their orgainization and re-kindle old friendships through our Alumni Directories. HISTORY: Founded more than 40 years ago by Bernard C. Harris at the family's kitchen table, the goal of Harris Connect has never changed. Today, as then, we are dedicated to one thing: helping strengthen the bonds between Alumni and their Organizations. At the outset, the Bernard C. Harris Publishing Company focused primarily on producing directories for regionally based alumni clubs, usually with less than 3,000 members. In the 1960s, we expanded the company's reach when we produced our first two national no cost directories for Fordham University and Manhattan College. As it turns out, this was just the beginning. Most recently, in 2002, we made our research tools and data enhancement services available to clients outside a traditional directory program. This enables them to freshen data, add information and even take advantage of sophisticated modeling and segmentation services each year -- whenever they need to. It is this ability to evolve that has helped Harris Connect remain at the forefront of the industry. Today, with Bernard's eldest son Bill at the helm, the company publishes over 600 titles annually, provides Internet services to more than 300 leading educational institutions and membership organizations and delivers best-in-class research and modeling solutions to some 500 clients.
