Profile: Texas Recruiters Association

Texas Recruiters Association, TRA, is a not for profit Association that is open to recruiting and HR professionals across Texas who strive to locate candidates, share industry information and foster networking. Our Associaiton began in the early 90's and is running strong with nearly 800 members through out the state of Texas. TRA began meeting monthly in the Austin Market years ago and recently have reached out to members in the San Antonio and Houston Markets to begin monthly meetings. Our goal is to help members staff positions, offer ideas to reduce cost-of-hire, and promote friendship and professionalism.

We are a group of Recruiters and Human Resource professionals dedicated to help others in our profession by meeting and sharing best practices. TRA has maintained a diverse roster ranging from corporate recruiters and HR generalists to executive search recruiters and researchers, employment agency and independent/contract recruiters.

TRA membership offers you the opportunity to share ideas and information about how to address recruitment issues through networking with colleagues and peers in the recruiting industry. We hold monthly meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
