How to Apply
Complete the application with all of the information requested. You may attach a resume to the application if you wish. If you are applying for more than one position, then you may make photocopies of your completed application. Make sure that the correct position title and position title code appears on each application.
If the position requires a specific typing speed, then contact the Worksource Career Center (formerly the Capital of Texas Workforce Center) at (512) 719-4145 to schedule a typing test. Please attach results to completed application.
Return the completed application to the Human Resources Management Department before 5 PM on the deadline date given. If you return the application by mail, the envelope must be postmarked by the deadline. You may also submit your application by email toresumes.hr@co.travis.tx.us.
After Applying
Your application is sent to the department which will hire for the position. If that department wishes to interview you, then they will telephone you to make arrangements. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
